Aoraki / Mount Cook

from NZ$49.00
DESCRIPTION

This photo was taken in July of 2020 during a two-week trip I took to the South Island. Usually this area around Aoraki/Mount Cook would be crawling with tourists (local and international) and the carpark at the end of this road would be jam-packed as walkers explored the Hooker and Tasman Lake tracks. This trip, however, there were few cars on the road and barely a soul on these once popular walks. As a landscape photographer I can’t think of a better time to be photographing New Zealand. This is the view of Aoraki from the Peter’s Lookout, a classic shot.

Photos printed on high quality Epson Lustre photo paper.
